Lisa is very creative in her class preparation and challenges us each week with multiple dance moves. She loves what she does, is very energetic and very positive.
We are very fortunate to have a person like Lisa in this area that is very talented and passionate in wanting to make a difference in our lives.
Thank you Lisa
The class is fun and challenges my brain and muscle coordination with a group of people who have the same challenges. Like many things in life it can be directly the result of a good coach or instructor and we have a great one. I didn’t realize there were that many positions and order of positions you can direct your body parts to accomplish (and I am sure we have just scratched the surface in the short time we have been doing this). It also helps to have a coach who can demonstrate what we should be doing and have the patience to tell us again and again and again. Who would have thought I would be doing ballet and enjoying it. Thank you Lisa.
I am aware of the importance of exercise for people living with Parkinson’s and I have discovered that matching movement to music greatly enhances my ability to move. It seems that including music allows my brain and muscles to communicate more effectively. I love being able to participate in dance classes for people with Parkinson’s.
